So much news I'm about to burst!

Hello, blog.
First things first...

Blog, meet Emily.
Emily, meet blog.

Emily is the girl who I told you would be staying with us during spring break...does that ring a bell in any one of you tweedledum's minds? Anyway, she came to us with a tough shell that we are ready to crack.

Hence the finger that has fallen off (family dog), sticky hair, lines where her owner applied mascara and eyeliner, and a shyness so ferocious that sometimes she doesn't even answer people's questions. We washed her hair (sticky hair gone!), applied blush (faded cheeks gone!), washed her skin (dirt gone!), and told her she is welcome to state her opinion whenever she wants.

As well, many of you know how Easter Break is coming up, or at least March Break for you yankees, and such.
Well, we have put off the date of the AG Academy Awards and have replaced it with easter festivitations. Easter egg hunts, may basket & card exchanges, tea socials, sewing get-togethers...you name it! Its going to be my first FULL break with Grace and the girls.

I feel terrible not for blogging for so long.
But as you might have guessed from this blog, I have been terribly busy, eh?

A ball of light in a starry sky.

Something fun has appeared on the horizon, to busy us with something to do during the bleak transition into spring. [even though today was beautiful, with a blue sky, warming sun and melting snow!]

I recieved a letter in the "mail" [a.k.a underneath my bedroom door!]:

Dear Miss Sonali Matthews,

You have been cordially invited
to the first ever American Girl
Academy Awards of 2009.

Please arrive at the Johnson
Stadium at precisely 7:00 pm.
There will be awards for the
following:
Best Breakout Actress
Best Music Video
Best Photography
Best Sister
Album Of The Year
Actress Of The Year

Dress accordingly.

Your host and friend,
Ruthie Angeline Smithens

Apparently our dear sister Ruthie forgot to put in the nominees. She has so much on her mind, no wonder she forgot.
She tracked us all down doing our chores this afternoon and wrote down the nominees for the awards on pieces of paper for us. Here is what it said:

Best Breakout Actress:
Elizabeth Lee Cole, Lanie Stefani Lucille Holland, and Bailey Andrea-Hope Starkey
Best Music Video:
Stephenswodadancer's Concrete Angel, AGClayMaker's Bad Romance, or agqueen43's Telephone.
Best Photography:
AGsisters, agqueen43, StarlightHarp, or other. [other is for you to pick a nominee of your choice]
Best Sister:
Ruthie Angeline Smithens, Chrissa Maxwell, Kirsten Larson.
Best Album:
Fearless, The Fame, or Abbey Road.
Actress Of The Year:
StarlightHarp's Ruthie, agqueen43's Mia, and SuperSamJam's Luci.

Woah, what a lot of nominees! This lady agqueen43 [who I've never heard of!] seems to be taking the lead... then AGClayMakers who I have seen one video of and StarlightHarp, the missus who leads Mari Luna's Wonderful Blog, are tied with two nominations.
I should go see an agqueen43 video to see what all the fuss is about ...

You can vote, too! :) Go ahead!

I wish ..

Bethie posted a blog two hours ago, and her final lines were "I NEED HELP!".

It triggered my imagination, and now I am thinking of escaping to the land of gumdrops and purple striped candy canes with her.
If I had it my way, Miss Elizabeth Cole and I, Sonali Beth Lynne Matthews, would meet at the AGP in Atlanta and from there we would travel the world, with photos and everything. Then we would settle in Switzerland [where they create the best chocolate! Wait, was that Germany?], and from all of doll civilization ... munching on tortillas, watching Glee, blogging, doing all of our delightful hobbies for the rest of our delightful dollie lives.

Oh, how I wish ...

Not scared. [of the blog, at least]

Hey!
I'm here -- finally.
I was here before, yeah, I guess, but I wasn't sure of myself.
Now I am sure that my followers or my blog cannot harm me.
The followers are just reading my blog ... its barely anything.

The AGPhotographer crew is back, whether you like it or not.
But still, Grace is kinda ... sad.
Oh well, for now!

We will be bringing to you videos of Erin, stop motions, and music videos!
WOOT! WOOT!

Spring brings fresh starts? Pshh!

I look around and the world is colorless and lifeless.
Blegch, with a capital B and twenty exclamation points!

When you're a doll, you don't just look. You see.
What I "see" is Grace going to bed late every night, after hours of practicing instruments, eating mandatory meals, reading book assignments, making her Beatles project ... and she lies down in her bed and stares at the Taylor Swift's on her wall and starts to tear up. I hear the tearing-up bit from the Olympics Mascots who sleep with her [dont make fun!!].

I feel so sorry.
What could be the cause of this?

As for myself, Chrissa has finally stopped bugging me. Chrissa is a sweetheart, she truly is, but sometimes .... sometimes it just has to stop. Now that Erin is here, I think Chrissa has finally found her "soul sister". ;]

But life is *still* depressing.
I know, you're tired of hearing that!

A long blog to fill the silence!

I, Sonali Beth Lynne Matthews, gives an apology to everyone following her blog. I have not posted in a number of days, which seems like forever.
So much has been going on, and I didn't really feel like blogging.

Our new sister has come.
Her name is Erin Lilly Violet McCartney, and I adore her red locks.
She's much more gorgeos than I, and I sometimes wonder how I am still in the "AGMA Model" position.

This weekend our family's dear friend Kaya is coming for the night! Yipee! A visitor for excitement. I have never really met a Kaya, except for back at the factory, and even then I didn't get to know her true personality.
Elizabeth has rained on Erin's parade. Elizabeth has set up multiple traps, pranks, and teases. Its all horribly terrible.

Firstly, our Lizzy directed the confused Miss McCartney downstairs where the "bathroom was" [no treally]. Erin ended up in the kitchen where the dogs ruined her lovely new hair, which I envy oh-so-much.
Then Elizabeth stole Erin's special peace sign pillow and left it outside on the porch where Erin found it later, all soaked up and stinky.
I cannot even continue to type the rest. :'(
